Format: Short Film

Logline: An American professional martial artist enters a street fighting tournament against a British urban street hooligan, who possesses the “power of speech”.

  • Short action-comedy made by Seven/Five Productions, a Leicestershire-based collective.
  • Parodies 90s fighting video games like Street Fighter and Streets Of Rage.
  • Originally set in a local park but changed to an urban city street.
  • Completed in 2021, showcased at Celebrate Snibston Film Night and Lift-Off Film Festival.
  • Won two 2022 Best Global Shorts awards for Best Fictional Short & Best Comedy Short.

Format: Micro-Short Film

Logline: Two men have a midnight meeting. But what’s it about?

  • Created after Seven/Five Productions folded.
  • Challenge: Make a film with four lines of dialogue within a month.
  • Original actors were unavailable, replaced by frequent collaborators, Manoj Anand and Hitesh Pandya.
  • Script altered due to new actors.
  • Completed film demonstrates problem-solving skills.

  • Annual filmmaking challenge from Seven/Five Productions.
  • Title: The Apple My Apple Your Apple.
  • Used animation software, Anime Studio.
  • Created a comedy animation featuring crime-fighting apples vs. an army of cucumbers.
  • Inspired by childhood cartoons like Earthworm Jim and Street Sharks

Logline: A man discovers reversed plumbing in his house, causing chaos.

  • Micro-short film made by Seven/Five Productions.
  • Originally, protagonist planned to flood the house deliberately.
  • Shown at East Midlands Short Film Festival in 2019.
  • Special effects by Thomas Kieran Clarke.
Magic Midget

Format: Short Film

Logline: A Chinese chemistry student must regain his natural size after being shrunk inside a washing machine.

  • Fantasy comedy produced as part of a college assignment.
  • Originally planned as a Micro Machines movie.
  • Features stop-motion animation in the closing credits.
  • Screened at the Film Lab festival in Northampton.

Role: Sound Recordist

Company: Chota Captain Production

Format: Short Film

• The film was produced as part of the annual Grindhouse Planet Film Festival – each team was tasked to create a short film within 48 hours.
• Collaborated with Manoj Anand (director) and shot on location in Leicester.
• Used own equipment (Zoom F8).
• Ensured ambient tracks were recorded for editing purposes.

Kenton Hall & The Necessary Measures – The Sun Shone Down

Role: Sound Recordist

Company: Monkey Basket Films

Format: Music Video

  • Collaborated with filmmaker and musician, Kenton Hall, shooting on location at Beacon Hill, Leicestershire.
  • Used own sound recording equipment (Zoom F8) and own initiative.
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking by assisting with equipment and props.

Role: Boom Operator

Format: Feature Film

  • Collaborated with Cameron Lalor, shooting on location in the Peak District.
  • Gained experience in boom operation.
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking by transporting cast and crew, and managing equipment, costumes, and props.
